ABOUT US
Academic Advisor
Dr. Guillaume Paré is an associate professor in the Department of Pathology and Molecular Medicine and a joint member in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact at McMaster. As the McMaster CSEB’s Academic Advisor, Dr. Paré provides valuable faculty input on club operations, activities, and initiatives.

Dr. Paré’s research focuses on the prevention of lipoprotein disorders, obesity and cardiovascular disease. He is the current director of the Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology lab at McMaster and is a member of the Population Genomics program. He has an interest in genetic epidemiology and has published 84 papers.

McMaster CSEB
The McMaster CSEB (Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics) Student Chapter is an interdisciplinary, student-run organization that aims to provide an avenue for undergraduate and graduate students to explore their interests in Epidemiology and Biostatistics through networking with students and professionals alike. We aim to build undergraduate research capacity, with a focus on clinical research, the application of statistics in medicine, and writing capabilities.
